The Lakeview Prairie Home
The Lakeview Prairie is a contemporary version of a Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie style home. Two of the main features, which are unique to the show, are a low-pitched roof and 3 foot cantilevered overhangs accented with natural stone, which is being featured inside and out. As you step inside the entry of the home you are greeted by the impressive and spacious great room with twelve-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling natural stone fireplace surrounded by mahogany built-ins. The stunning space also has beautiful wood French doors that open onto a covered porch with glimpses of Vancouver Lake. From the great room, the open floor plan leads into the kitchen, with gorgeous quartz counter tops and custom mahogany cabinetry. The large master suite with walk-in closet is also located on the main level. It showcases a spa-like bathroom with features including floor-to-ceiling tile, a walk-in shower and freestanding soaking tub with a built-in fireplace connecting the bedroom and bath. The stairs lead you to three more bedrooms, one of these having its own full bathroom. There is also a large bonus room with views of Vancouver Lake and the Oregon Hills. Finally, step outside onto the covered back patio that is great for entertaining even during Pacific NW rainstorms and includes a cozy fire pit with seating wall. Natural stone is again generously featured. The Lakeview Prairie is Energy Star certified and also certified by the National Association of Homebuilder’s National Green Building Standard at the Gold level.
